Mr. Schielke's career began at the French and German Universal Banks, where he started as an apprentice and worked his way up to executive positions. He then moved to Washington, D.C. to work for the bank holding company Financial General (now Wachovia Bank), and earned his MBA in finance from the American University of Washington, D.C.
In his roles as Chief Investment Officer and Director of the Investment Department for the World Bank, Hugo was responsible for the portfolios of the World Bank Group, where he stewarded the portfolios' growth in value from 2 to 15 billion dollars.
His global market and management experience led to the position of Chairman and CEO of American & European Investment Corp., an SEC registered investment advisory firm.
Subsequently, Hugo worked at Bear Stearns as Managing Director in New York, and founded and led their bank subsidiary in Frankfurt.
He is now lending his considerable expertise to the creation of financial structures and systems for new entities, established companies, and projects, especially in the energy and water sectors.
To serve international clientele with his financial counsel, Hugo formed and leads TMF International LLC.
Hugo has served on the Board of Directors with AIG Financial Services in New York and with Growth Stock Outlook, a Mutual Fund Company in Bethesda, MD. |
